Dog Pound - Cross Ice
So your child has the fundamentals of skating and wants to play hockey? The Holland Hockey Association Dog Pound "Learn to Play" Cross-Ice Program builds upon the fundamental skills learned in Learn to Skate. Your player will gain confidence in stick/puck handling, shooting, and basic hockey plays through various drills and three-on-three scrimmages. Your player will also learn the values of hard work and teamwork. He/She will also leave the ice with a big smile on their little face and a very sweaty head! The Dog Pound Cross-Ice is the "gateway" to the next division of hockey, Mites, however, Cross-Ice is not required before enrolling your player as a Mite.
